What Will You Be Doing?

As the Motus HSEQ & Franchise Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for the achievement and enforcement of compliance with Group Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Strategy policies and processes and Franchise standards throughout the Region. You will be responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety compliance across our South West Region, which comprises 4 branches 

The role will involve:

  • Identifying, recording and minimising non-conformance's challenging and devising solutions in accordance with QM objectives 
  • Monitoring compliance 
  • Devising and implementing practical improvement solutions at all branches

Please note, this position requires travelling to and working from Avonmouth, Hereford, Swindon and Gloucester

Who Are We Looking for?

We are looking for a professionally qualified individual with an up-to-date  working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental considerations.

The successful candidate will need:

  • A recognised H&S qualification, i.e. IOSH, NEBOSH, BSC etc
  • An ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and in presentation format
  • A demonstrable track record in a similar role.
  • Strong IT & administration skills

A working knowledge of Kerridge and from a Motor Trade background would be a distinct advantage.

Who Are We?

We have a network of 32 dealer locations across the United Kingdom including 4 body-shops and accident repair centres. We are the largest DAF Trucks dealer group in the UK and Europe, with 30 DAF franchise locations, 14 of which have ATF sites with the ability to carry out DVSA MOT’s on commercial vehicles, together with locations for our partnership with Renault Trucks, ISUZU Trucks and TRP Parts. Our LCV portfolio is ever expanding, with 19 dealer locations at present, offering sales and/or service opportunities for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Ford Transit Commercial Vehicles, Fiat Professional, ISUZU Pick-up and Best Van Deals Used Commercial Vehicles.

 

We are committed to supporting HGV and LCV operators to the highest standards, maximising vehicle uptime. We offer a wide range of sales, service and parts solutions to suit the varying needs of both individual vehicle users and fleet operators. Many of our locations offer extended hours providing flexibility and optimising vehicle availability. We are committed to continuous technical training for colleagues including a substantial apprenticeship programme, which currently has over 100 apprentices in training. We also offer pathways with manufacturer specific recognised training/qualifications for both HGV and LCV colleagues, offering further development during their career with us.
